“This may not prove to be the most sociable day you have experienced this year. The planetary energy makes meeting up with others, and that essential flow of conversation, more than a little awkward. People seem to stumble over their words, blush, get over-embarrassed, and generally lack confidence. Not the best time for that first date. Wait a while, and it could be the best thing ever!”—Gemini lovescope for December 1, 2009
All I needed to know about life I learned from Star Wars.
Try not do or do not there is no try. - Anger, fear and agression lead to the dark side. - In seeking your destiny, patience is your ally. - Always let the Wookiee win! - When judging people size matters not. - Traveling through hyperspace isn’t like dusting crops. - There is no such thing as luck. Don’t underestimate the Force. - You must follow your own path; no one can choose it for you. - Keep your promises, even if they take you far, far away. - Pass on what you have learned. - If it smells bad on the outside, it’s worse on the inside. - The possibility of sucessfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately 3,720 to 1. - Wars do not make one great. - Faith in your friends is a strength, not a weakness. - In your pursuit of peace and justice, remember, the Force will be with you… always!
It’s 5am in California. I am just going to bed. It seems like my sleep pattern is still stuck on Haunt time, even though it’s been over for 28 days. My stepdad just left for work and my mom is about to get up to get ready for one of her last days at work. Damn this economy and the car industry for sucking so bad. I’m about to send you a text message telling you I’m going to bed and to have a good day while I sleep the day away. It’s 8am in Massachusetts. You’re prolly just waking up. You have nothing to do in the am; no work, no school, no chores. You just have always woken up at this time. And as you get up and do whatever it is that you do at this god forsaken time; I’ll be wrapped in my down comforter of a cacoon with a firm pillow between my legs, dreaming of who knows what. You’ll check your incoming texts and reply to mine with a smile on your face. And when I awake from my comatose state, I’ll reply back. And for a brief minute, we’ll both think of how badly we want it to be January.
